Decided to stop posting income reports
I decided to stop posting income reports. As you can see from my previous post, my revenue kept increasing and is somewhat stable, even though I didn’t make any updates to my games. So why keep posting same reports every month? I will only post a report if anything surprising happens. 🙂
You might have already noticed that my games are not that cool! Yet I keep getting downloads and reviews. This shows that even though you make a simple game, you can still get amazing number of downloads. That too with no marketing at all!
So stop looking at all these income reports from other developers and start working on your own apps. COMPLETE IT. AND RELEASE IT! You will definitely reach your goals and get amazing downloads.
I will continue posting on this blog about my adventures. Mostly about game/app development and some useful articles. What do you think? Let me know in the comments.
Android Development Income Report November 2013
Here’s the November income report! Guess what? This is the best month so far. 😀
As usual I didn’t do anything to my apps. No updates, nothing. Downloads increased a little and as a result my revenue increased too. All my apps are getting good feedback from users.
This month I thought of publishing my games to iOS App Store. But didn’t find time to do it. Also, my results were out and I successfully survived this semester too, phew! with no preparation at all. And yea in my last post I said I will be working on a Christmas themed game, and I couldn’t do that.
But I started working on a new 2D game in Unity3D. As I am already familiar with its user interface, it was easy for me to jump into the 2D tools. I am not good with programming in C# yet. I have to learn it, may take some time. After making my game, maybe I’ll do a tutorial about creating an “infinite runner” 2D game in Unity3D. There are not many tutorials regarding this. Maybe it will help some of you.
And yea Christmas is near! Which means this month revenue will (might?) be high due to the holiday season. I am also planning to post more frequently from now. Hope you like my posts. Merry Christmas!
